By Thursday the number of patients discharged from hospital after recovering from coronavirus reached 4,160, as 363 more people were sent home.
The number of hospitalisations remains high in the region, with 4,769 patients counted by Thursday. This represents an increase of 61 over 24 hours, but it seems to have reached a plateau in recent days.
The number of beds occupied in intensive care fell to 916, the lowest it has been in April so far.
