Trier3-year-old hit and injured on Trier Moselle bike path – cyclist flees

According to the Trier Police Department, a collision between a cyclist and a 3-year-old toddler occurred on the Moselle Cycle Path, which runs parallel to Straße Martinerfeld.

The incident took place at around 3.10pm yesterday, Monday 9 November and police are seeking witnesses.

The man is said to have grabbed the girl after she was in his way.

The toddler fell to the ground and injured herself as a result.

After the altercation, the cyclist promptly left the scene of the accident despite the parents insisting he stay until police officers arrived.

He was described as a 50-year-old man with a full beard, glasses and red jacket.
