Awards are presented for outstanding PhD thesis, outstanding scientific achievement (new category), and outstanding promotion of science to the public. We’ll be live streaming the awards right here on RTL Today on 21 October from around 6.30pm, and our very own Lisa Burke will be at the awards as one of two co-hosts, alongside FNR’s Michele Weber. Also in attendance, among many others, will be the Minister of Education and Research.
New for this year is the addition of another significant award, namely for outstanding mentor (and any budding academic will tell you how important those are).
We’ve got a few more treats in store in addition to the event itself, but for now you can find more information on the FNR website.
