Henri Rasqué, mayor of Ell, has decided to step down from his position. Speaking to RTL, Rasqué confirmed that he is currently preparing his formal letter of resignation, which will be submitted to the Grand Duke.
Explaining his decision, Rasqué cited an excessive workload as the main reason. He stated that he had been struggling to balance his professional commitments with the responsibilities of local governance.
It is not yet clear when Rasqué's resignation will officially take effect, nor who will succeed him in the role. For the time being, Kim Müller remains the first alderman in Ell.
