At around 4.10pm on Wednesday, a crash took place between a motorcycle and a car on Boulevard Friedrich Wilhelm Raiffeisen in Luxembourg City's Gasperich district. According to initial reports, the motorcyclist drove into the back of the car.
Police have said that the rider was seriously injured in the collision.
A further incident took place at the crossroads between Montée du Wangert and Rue des Jardins at around 2.30pm on Thursday. A worker at a construction site sustained minor injuries after a heavy object fell on his foot, the police said. An ambulance attended the scene.
