On Monday, the Luxembourg government is scheduled to present its first national poverty plan to the Parliamentary Family Affairs Committee.

Key details of the plan, however, have already been revealed. Notably, child benefit is set to increase by €45 per child, as first reported by the Luxemburger Wort on Friday afternoon and subsequently confirmed to RTL by Minister for Family Affairs Max Hahn.

Minister Hahn had indicated two months ago that child benefits would rise starting in 2027 but did not specify an amount at the time.
