Emergency crews responded to a series of road accidents and two vegetation fires across Luxembourg on Friday afternoon, with several people injured.

Emergency services were called to a series of incidents across Luxembourg on Friday afternoon, keeping the Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS) particularly busy.

At around 12.15pm in Käerjeng, two cars collided on Avenue de Luxembourg, resulting in one person being injured. Later, at approximately 3.45pm, another accident occurred in Käerjeng involving a car and a bus, with one person suffering injuries.

Shortly after 1pm, a person was struck in the Rue de l'Usine in Esch-sur-Alzette, also sustaining injuries.

At just after 2pm, two vehicles were involved in a collision in Graulinster, leaving another person injured. Around 3.30pm, a motorcyclist fell and was injured on the N7 between Erpeldange-sur-Sûre and Ettelbruck.

In addition to the road accidents, the CGDIS reported two vegetation fires. The first occurred at about 3.30pm along the N6 between Capellen and Windhof, while the second was reported around 5pm on the CR176 between Cessange and Schléiwenhaff.
