Young school leavers tend to encounter the most difficulties when it comes to finding a job, for the most part due to their lack of experience. A new two-year project seeks to remedy the issue.
Twelve young jobhunters participated in the ‘Youth and Work’ project for six weeks, with one candidate managing to secure a fixed-term contract as a result.
The project organisers came up with the concept of coaching and advising young people through their efforts to find a job. At the end of the course, participants were awarded certificates for their “internship”.
