Young people seeking employment, training, or internships were able to gather information from the 50 participating organisations at the shopping centre in Esch-Belval. For the past ten years, the SNJ has organised the fair entitled Deng Zukunft - Däi Wee as a meanwhile well-established counterpart to the student fair, according to the SNJ.

Olivia Meudje, a 22-year-old graduate in administration and business, attended the fair in search of an internship or first professional experience. She said she has struggled to find employment in Luxembourg despite repeatedly submitting applications.

She described the process as discouraging and exhausting, explaining that a lack of responses from employers can undermine confidence.

However, Meudje said her experience at the SNJ fair was positive. She received information about accounting training opportunities and spoke to a company about possible pathways to further study.

The fair was well received – Nathalie Schirtz, associate director of the SNJ, said organisers collect feedback from visitors and exhibitors each year.

She explained that while some participants may find employment directly at the fair, its primary purpose is to provide information and guidance. The continued participation of exhibitors each year, she added, is a positive sign.

Among the regular participants are the Luxembourg Army and the National Employment Agency (ADEM). The Ministry of Health also ran a larger campaign this year to promote careers in the healthcare sector.
