Police received reports of a break-in on Avenue Lucien Salentiny in Ettelbruck on Sunday morning and dispatched a patrol to the scene.
When officers arrived at the property, the two intruders - both minors - attempted to hide within the building, but were ultimately discovered by the authorities.
During a police search, officers found one of the intruders holding a number of valuable items, while the other was found in possession of a small quantity of hashish, and pepper spray. The objects were promptly confiscated.
Both perpetrators were taken into custody by order of the public prosecutor’s office and written up for the offence.
