It is definitely chilly throughout the country this week, but temperatures have dropped especially in the north. This has led to Meteolux issuing a yellow weather alert until 11am on Wednesday and Thursday morning.
The weather agency predicts temperatures of around -8°C, but does not exclude further drops in some places.
The yellow weather alert is mainly for drivers, as road conditions can be very icy. Luckily, the sun will warm things up a little on both days, with the thermometer rising to 3°C in the afternoon.
Looking ahead towards the weekend, warmer conditions are expected.
