A year after having signed the lease, Galeries Lafayette has begun preparing its Luxembourg City department store. Constructions works on the inside of the building, arguably the centrepiece of the Royal Hamilius project, will begin imminently.
According to the CODIC group's press release on Friday, this marks the beginning of nine months of work. Galeries Lafayette will be followed by Fnac, Delhaize, a rooftop restaurant, and 16 other businesses.
The entire complex is built over a surface of 9,000 square metres divided into six floors.
