Gerard Schoos and Maurice Groben received the most votes in Sunday’s election. Both candidates have thus been elected to be the next municipal councillors of Weiler-la-Tour. Ana Paula Lopes Cordeiro Sacras did not receive enough votes.
Both positions became available in December 2021, after Carlo Ernst and Andrée Colas stepped down. This was the second attempt at electing their successors after an earlier election had to be postponed due to administrative issues.
