According to information by RTL 5Minutes and later confirmed by French railway company SNCF, the reason for the stop was a person-related incident on the tracks.

CFL have communicated that from around 14h30, trains will begin to run progressively. Delays and potential disruptions to the line may still occur. Passengers are invited to consult www.cfl.lu or the CFL mobile application for the latest information regarding train times and alternative routes.
