Muggings are on the rise in Luxembourg City. After a series of assaults in recent days, a passer-by was again attacked in the capital.
The incident took place in Avenue Monterey on Monday afternoon. Once again, a group of young people attacked a passer-by to steal their mobile phone.
One of them assaulted the victim to obtain the phone’s unlock code. The young assailants then fled to the municipal park.
The police launched a search but were unable to locate the suspects. A complaint was filed, and an investigation was opened.
