The police reported multiple vehicle break-ins across the country Wednesday, along with three separate drink-driving incidents that resulted in temporary driving bans.

Luxembourg police recorded multiple vehicle thefts and drink-driving cases, according to Wednesday morning reports.

In Garnich, thieves targeted a parked car on Rue de Holzem, stealing unspecified valuables.

A similar incident occurred in the Gare neighbourhood of Luxembourg City, where perpetrators took a bag, shoes, a belt, and perfume from a vehicle on Rue Sainte Zithe.

Drink-driving incidents

Authorities issued three temporary driving bans for alcohol-related offences on Tuesday.

The first occurred at around 5am when an intoxicated driver crashed into residential stairs on Rue de Longwy in Niederkorn.

Later that afternoon, police intercepted another suspected drink driver near the Frisange-Weiler-Station speed camera.

The third case occurred in the evening when officers stopped a motorist for erratic driving on Rue Wiltheim in Luxembourg City.
