The OGBL has organised a new protest in Dudelange, following allegations of staff mistreatment at the Fondation and Atelier Kräizbierg. Employees have complained of unfair sanctions, understaffing and what they called "humiliating" working conditions.
The union said the board of directors had not reacted appropriately, and claimed they underestimated the situation.
After the allegations were made public, the board had ordered an investigation with an external auditor. The OGBL said this was too little, too late, as the union had made first contact with the board in March with a 400-page dossier on the allegations.
The OGBL added that the issues concerned employees with specific needs, as well as others, both at home and in the workshops.
