Luxembourg Consumer AssociationULC protests against closure of post offices

RTL Today
The Luxembourg Consumer Association (ULC) considers the closure of post offices an "anti-social policy" that does not just affect the elderly but everyone.

In a letter to Minister of the Economy Franz Fayot, the ULC slammed the measure, stressing that it “reduces social contacts” and “sucks the life out of small villages”.

The ULC demands that the Minister intervene at POST Luxembourg, seeing as the company is entirely owned by the state. The association criticises that the only goal of the measures is to increase profits.

POST has been closing numerous branches in recent years.
