Security staff at the shopping centre noticed the two men displaying suspicious behaviour and alerted police who happened to be patrolling the centre. Officers discovered goods worth €1,100 as well as cash and mobile phones when searching the two men.
Both would-be thieves were taken into custody and brought in front of an investigating judge, who ordered their arrest. The stolen goods were returned and the cash and phones were seized by police.
