On Sunday, police recorded drug-related offences in two separate incidents.

While searching for a suspected perpetrator who had tried to break into a car, officers stopped three men on Rue du Fort Neipperg, in Luxembourg City's Gare district.

During the subsequent check, small quantities of hashish and several wraps of cocaine were found on two of the men and seized.

On top of that, cash and a mobile phone were confiscated from one of the individuals. Official reports were filed accordingly.

In a separate incident, a police patrol near a petrol station on the Route d’Arlon in Windhof noticed a car on account of the driver’s erratic behaviour.

During the ensuing check, there were signs that the driver was under the influence of drugs.

A rapid drug test came back positive for cannabis. His car keys and documents were, as a result, provisionally confiscated
