One of the petitions proposes limiting the number of pupils per class in primary school to a maximum of 16 children.

The second petition calls for the appointment of an independent committee of enquiry to draw conclusions on the management of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Both petitions have already received the required number of signatures, but they will remain online for another seven days.

Meanwhile, three other public petition debates have already been scheduled over the next two months:

  • 8 March 2023 – Public debate on improving access to MRIs and scanners;
  • 15 March 2023 – Public debate on the right to pay in cash with no spending limit;
  • 26 April 2023 – Public debate on abolishing battues (Klappjuegd)
