Around 5:45pm on Sunday evening, an accident involving a motorcycle left two people injured between Folkendange and Reisermillen in the Vallée de l’Ernz, according to the Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS). Rescue services from Bettendorf and an ambulance team from Lintgen were present at the scene.
Besides this, various fires were reported, which only resulted in material damage. Around 5:25pm, a flower pot caught fire in Dudelange, shortly followed by a chimney set ablaze in Hobscheid. Around 6pm, a bin was reported to be on fire in Alzingen.
Finally, an electric fire was reported in Junglinster at 9.22pm, followed by a rubbish fire around 10pm and 11pm between Reisdorf and Aspelt.
