A police patrol stopped a car on Route d'Arlon in Luxembourg City around midnight, as the motorist was travelling at 80 km/h in a 50 kilometre zone.
The driver had her licence withdrawn after it was discovered that she was intoxicated and over the limit. Her car was also confiscated as the documents were not up to date.
Shortly after midnight, another motorist was found speeding on Route d'Ettelbruck in Ingeldorf.
Following a positive breathalyser test, the man had his licence confiscated and received an additional driving ban.
