According to preliminary reports, two members of the group collided with each other when trying to avoid a car that had slowed down to enter a parking section. Both motorcyclists were critically injured in the process and transported to a hospital via an LAR helicopter.
The third member of the group also fell during the incident, but remained unharmed. The road had to be closed off following the accident.
