Police launched a search and were quickly able to identify and locate the two suspects. The stolen wallet was found and returned to its owner. During the investigation, police realised they had laid hands on a criminal with a Europe-wide warrant out for his arrest. In addition, the suspect attempted to provide false identification papers. Both men were subsequently arrested by order of the public prosecutor’s office.
