Aside from revoking two licenses for drink driving, police further intervened in a mugging that happened in the capital on Friday evening.

Shortly before 10pm on Sunday, a motorist crashed into a wall near Place de Tilleuls in Wiltz. The driver fled the scene after the accident, but police were able to identify and locate the culprit soon after. The motorist tested positive for alcohol and had his license revoked as a consequence.

At 2am on Monday, police were alerted to a reckless motorist near Warken. A subsequent alcohol test showed that the driver was intoxicated, which is why officers revoked the man’s driving license.
