Around 7.45pm, police were alerted to a motorist who collided with the crash barrier on the A7 motorway and then proceeded to drive away. A patrol was dispatched and officers were able to locate the woman and her damaged vehicle at a petrol station soon after. Her alcohol test came back positive, which is why her license was revoked at the scene.
A police patrol on Avenue de Luxembourg in Hautcharage witnessed another reckless driver. When officers stopped the man, they estimated that he was drunk, which a test confirmed soon after. Police revoked the man’s driving license and seized his car.
