Around 2.40am on Sunday, a motorist lost control over his car on Côte d’Eich and collided with a car stationed at the side of the road. Both vehicles were significantly damaged in the process.
When police arrived at the scene of the crash, they found that the driver was highly intoxicated and also unable to present valid insurance papers. Officers therefore revoked the man’s driving license and issued a fine.
At 6.30am, authorities further encountered a drink driver on the A7 motorway between Lintgen and Gosseldange. After a positive alcohol test, officers removed the man’s driving license at the scene.
