An accident occurred on Avenue Kennedy in Kirchberg at midnight on Thursday. The responsible driver crashed his car into a roadside tree, which broke off and fell onto other vehicles on the road. Officers revoked the man’s license after a positive alcohol test.
Two hours later, police identified another drink driver at the Schuman roundabout in Limpertsberg. Officers removed the driving license after the man tested positive for alcohol.
A pedestrian was hit by a car on Rue Clairefontaine in Diekirch at 7.30 a.m. on Friday. The person was injured in the process and was treated by emergency service teams from Bettendorf and Nordstad.
