Two intoxicated individuals were taken into custody last night in Luxembourg for causing public disturbances.
On the evening of 22 May, at around 10.50pm, police received reports of an intoxicated person outside a bar on Grand Rue in Ettelbruck who was bothering other customers. A police patrol was despatched to the scene and located the individual. It emerged that the person had already drawn attention to themselves earlier in the evening and had been instructed by police officers to go home.
The individual showed clear signs of intoxication. Given their condition and the public order disturbance they were causing, the person was taken into custody following a medical examination.
Later that night, a police patrol noticed a potentially intoxicated person on Place de la Gare in Luxembourg City, who was shouting and harassing security guards. As their intoxicated state posed a danger to both themselves and others, the individual was taken into custody to sober up.
