Both incidents left one person injured.
Mersch and Tintange fire fighters and Redange ambulance were on the scene for the accident on the RN08, in which a car hit a tree at 8pm.
The second incident occurred at 11.40pm on the A4 motorway, necessitating assistance from Mondercange and Schifflange fire services, and the Esch-sur-Alzette ambulance.
