The last weekend of August has been marked by a series of dire road accidents, including a severe collision between three cars that left five people injured on the RN22 and eight others rescued on Luxembourg’s roads in the space of a few hours. Last night was no different, with two accidents taking place on Saturday night.

The two injured people were further treated at the hospital.
In a separate incident at around 4.05am on Sunday, a car was involved in an accident on Avenue de la Faïencerie in Luxembourg City, but nobody was injured, according to the Grand-Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS).
