Authorities reported an accident involving three vehicles, between Useldange and Everlange on Friday evening. One person is reported to be in critical condition.

On Friday at around 7.30 pm, a serious accident occurred on the N22 between Useldange and Everlange. According to the authorities' report, a driver lost control over their car on a right turn before frontally colliding into two vehicles.

Given the severity of the impact, the cars were badly damaged, and five people were severely injured - one of them critically. The police shared with RTL that this individual underwent emergency surgery the same evening.

Emergency services from Redange, Nordstad, Fels, Useldange, and Bissen were deployed, as well as the rescue helicopter and emergency medical assistance from Ettelbruck. The Public Prosecutor of Diekirch subsequently ordered the seizure of all three cars.

The authorities have reported two further accidents involving frontal collisions into trees. The first accident occurred in Niederkorn on the N31, resulting in one person being injured. Similarly, the second collision on CR310 between Holtz and Flatzbour left one person injured.
