Emergency services from Vianden, Putscheid, and Nordstad were called out at around 8.30pm on Sunday after a gas cylinder exploded on Route de Diekirch in Vianden. Two people sustained injuries and were transported to hospital.
In addition, the Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS) reported several other incidents on Sunday evening, including a bin fire in Neudorf, a field fire in Pétange, and a burning grill in Grevenmacher. No injuries were reported in any of these cases.
