Shortly thereafter, a patrol intercepted a woman at a bus stop. She was heavily intoxicated, barely able to speak coherently, and stumbled frequently. Additionally, she displayed aggressive behavior towards the officer. She was placed in custody overnight.
Later that night, the police received another report of a heavily intoxicated individual causing disturbance at an emergency room at the hospital in Esch-sur-Alzette. Recognising the individual’s potential danger to themselves and others, the police decided to also place them in custody for the night.
