An accident involving a lorry occurred on the A3 at the Aire de Berchem service station in the direction of Luxembourg City shortly after 6 am. Shortly before 1 pm, Luxembourg's National Motoring Association (ACL) confirmed that the traffic jam that had formed earlier still went up to the French border and that two lanes were still blocked. Thus, it appears that the lorry that caused this disruption had not been removed from the site at that point.
