A woman had to hand over her driving license in Pétange during the night from Friday to Saturday. She lost control over her car on Route de Longwy and hit a parked vehicle. When the police were at the scene, the person in question had to leave her vehicle as it turned she had been drinking.
Whilst dealing with the said incident, the police noticed another motorist driving towards them erratically. Luckily, they managed to avoid the car at the last moment. After stopping the car, the driver had to undergo a breathalyser test, which came back positive. The motorist also had to leave his car and hand over his license.
