Two vehicles collided at a sharp turn at 2.50 pm, although it remains undetermined whether any injuries were reported. Bissen firefighters, an ambulance from Ettelbruck, and the Mersch police were at the scene.
A second collision occurred at 4.30 pm in Schlewenhof. Two people in one of the vehicles sustained minor injuries, but the police had no further information on the condition of the third party. The road was closed to traffic in the aftermath.
A child was hit by a car on Route de Bastogne in Niederfeulen at 3.40 pm. The emergency services bulletin confirmed the child sustained serious injuries. The child had been crossing the street and the car, coming from Ettelbruck, had failed to see the young pedestrian. The child sustained injuries to the leg and was taken to hospital.
