The burglars broke into a family home in the Neudorf-Weimershof neighbourhood of Luxembourg City. They entered the house through a terrace door and reportedly searched each room in the building.
When police arrived, the two burglars were still busy looting the home. Officers caught them red-handed as they were sifting through rooms on the second floor. The public prosecutor's office ordered the arrest of the two suspects. They will face an examining magistrate this Friday afternoon.
