Suspicions initially arose when a man quickened his pace upon spotting patrolling officers. The latter then followed him, eventually spotting him just as he met with another individual nearby.
The police observed both individuals making swallowing movements, leading them to suspect that they had ingested drug capsules whereupon they were taken to the police station.
One of the men tested positive for drug ingestion following a scan, and was taken into custody. He was brought before the examining magistrate on Monday morning.
