At around 4pm on Tuesday, a case of credit card fraud that occurred on Rue de la Gare in Leudelange was reported to the police.
As part of the immediate investigation, a police patrol first identified a suspicious vehicle, which had previously been reported in connection with credit card fraud. The driver was stopped and a large sum of cash was seized from the vehicle. During the subsequent investigation, officers were also able to apprehend another suspect based on the description provided by the alleged perpetrator.
On the orders of the public prosecutor, the two individuals were arrested and brought before an investigating judge. Cash, mobile phones, and the vehicle were seized.
