Much like yesterday, National Day starts off warm, before heading into "uncomfortably hot" territory. Health director Dr Jean-Claude Schmit had some advice for coping with the heatwave, such as staying at home where possible, and drinking even without thirst.
Temperatures will start at 23-25°C in the morning, with highs of up to 36°C expected in the afternoon, remaining at around 29-31°C in the evening.
