Southern Luxembourg will remain under orange alert for extreme heat as temperatures are set to reach 35°C. The alert is in place from midday until 7pm. The Moselle valley and urban areas could even see temperatures exceeding the forecast.

Meteolux has issued a yellow alert for northern Luxembourg over the same time period, where temperatures are likely to hit highs of 33°C.

Vulnerable people, including young children and the elderly, should limit their exposure to the sun during these hours.

By the evening we may see the dry conditions replaced by rain showers and even thunderstorms, with winds of up to 50 km/h.

Temperatures will start off at 20–22°C in the morning, rising to highs of 33–35°C in the afternoon, dropping slightly to 27–29°C in the evening.
