The Wort reported the trial is set to begin on 10 March.
The accused is Ana Lopes' ex-boyfriend and father of her son. He was arrested several weeks after Lopes' death.
His trial will unfold amidst strict security measures, as both he and his family displayed aggressive behaviour in a previous trial last year.
