Motorists heading to Luxembourg City from Germany on the A1 motorway faced traffic jams on Wednesday. An accident near the Howald tunnel led to one car being broken down on the hard shoulder, whereas the other vehicle blocked traffic flow on the left lane.
Near the exit to Kirchberg, a construction site continued to impact traffic until 4pm. As a result, traffic was slow-moving between Kirchberg and Howald, but cleared afterwards.
