
Motorists were advised to exercise caution after Monday’s freezing conditions led to multiple accidents.
At 10.37am, a car crashed into a tree on the CR101 between Hivange and Garnich, leaving one person with injuries. The road was subsequently closed to traffic until just after 11am.
The CR112 between Tuntange and Brouch was also blocked by a crashed vehicle on Monday morning.
Other road closures were reported on the CR157 between Alzingen and Roeser; the CR186 (route de Luxembourg) between Bettembourg and Kockelscheuer; and rue de l’Usine in Rumelange.
Earlier on Monday, one person was injured in a collision between two vehicles on the A1 motorway towards Luxembourg City.
