Volunteers who wish to offer their services voluntarily, such as going shopping, walking the dog or giving remedial lessons, can also sign up to the site.
The platform has also compiled a handy list of contact details for hospitals and pharmacies in the country, as well as supermarkets, service stations and restaurants that have remained open or offer home deliveries.
The site is free to use, and could continue to operate after the confinement measures end, in order to foster a sense of solidarity and support among the community.
