
The most serious incident occurred around 11.30am on the CR119, where a collision between a tractor and a motorbike claimed the life of a 69-year-old German motorcyclist, who died at the scene.
Earlier in the day, two other accidents were reported. At approximately 11.40am, a car and a lorry collided on the CR101 between Kopstal and Schoenfels, leading to one person being transported to the hospital by the Lintgen ambulance.
Just ten minutes later, at 11.50am, a collision between two cars on Route de Longwy in Pétange resulted in three people being injured.
The afternoon brought further incidents. At around 2.50pm, a car and a lorry collided on the A3 between Aire de Berchem and the Livange exit, heading towards France, resulting in one person being treated by the Bettembourg ambulance service.
Later, at 4.15pm, a crash between two cars on Rue de la Gare in Schouweiler led to three people being injured and attended to by ambulances from Mamer, Pétange, Sanem, and Differdange.
Shortly before 7pm, another collision occurred between two vehicles on the A3 towards Metz. One person was injured, with emergency responders from Bettembourg and Dudelange despatched to the scene.
As the day neared its end, just before midnight, a car crashed into safety barriers on the A13 towards Schengen, injuring one person who was treated by first-aid teams from Pétange and Käerjeng.
