On Sunday afternoon, three separate road accidents resulting in injuries occurred across the country.

Shortly after 1.30pm, one person was injured when a car crashed at the Wasserbillig motorway rest area. Firefighters and paramedics from Mertert were called to the scene.

A larger-scale emergency response followed just before 3pm on the RN10 between Remerschen and Schwebsange, where three vehicles were involved in a collision. Emergency services from Schengen and Remich, along with two ambulances from Dudelange, one from Kayl, and the medical emergency aid services (SAMU), were deployed. In total, three people were injured.

Barely 20 minutes later, another three individuals sustained injuries in a collision between two cars on the CR175 between Pétange and Niederkorn. Firefighters from Pétange and ambulance teams from Esch and Mamer attended the scene.
