As reported this afternoon by the police, efforts to contain the flames proved unsuccessful, resulting in the complete destruction of both vehicles by the fire.
Witnesses reported observing a group of suspicious individuals in close proximity to the burning cars. An investigation was subsequently launched - it proved successful.
In the late morning, four men were identified as suspects in the arson incident. Three of them were detained under the authority of the prosecutor’s office. They are scheduled to appear before the investigating judge on Tuesday.
